The Predate Vlog

The Predate Vlog

The Unconventional Woman has a first date with a guy from Austin, Texas.   She is wondering how far their geographic similarities will get them.

The Post First Impressions Vlog

The Texan: I’m the black sheep of my family.
The Unconventional Woman: Maybe Berlin is a city of black sheep.

……

The Texan: I can see how your research is fascinating, but maybe it’s holding you back.

……

The Texan:  I always felt that I was awkward type…I’m never able to articulate how I feel at the right moment.

The Unconventional Woman:  I’m the awkward type as well..but I’ve realized now that there are two types of awkward.  There are those who don’t feel comfortable articulating themselves, but I’m the type who is always open about how I feel in the moment, and fears they will be rejected for their honesty afterwards.

The Post Date Denouement

The Unconventional talks to the Texan about gaining enough credibility to belong to social structures in Berlin…He believes it will be a long and difficult task.
